My Club Wins
Message from Tim Lamb (Former ECB Chief Executive) to All Saracens Herts League Clubs :
In my capacity as a Director of Sport Support CIC, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, but also an
enthusiastic follower of Hertfordshire club cricket, I wish to draw your attention to '
My Club Wins' (MCW).
Initially focussed on cricket, MCW is a new online lottery set up specifically to support recreational sports clubs. I
genuinely believe MCW can bring significant benefit to recreational sports clubs far and wide.
Those of us involved in Sport Support CIC are steeped in cricket, committed to the grassroots and motivated by
wanting to see recreational cricket flourish. Alongside me, (who back in the day played for Northamptonshire
and Middlesex before serving as Chief Executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board) are Nick Gandon,
former Director of the Cricket Foundation and a longstanding club cricketer at Hoddesdon Cricket Club (where
for many years he also served as its Chair) and Richard Peel, a former cricket writer and ECB’s first Director of
Corporate Affairs.
MCW is different from every other lottery scheme available - we genuinely think there isn't a better scheme out
there supporting recreational sports clubs. There are no set up costs; no fees; no requirements to get individual
licences from the Gambling Commission – all this is already sorted. MCW provides national prizes on a monthly
basis and, perhaps most importantly, gives back no less than 50% of money raised to your club. It’s fun, simple
and offers your club long-term, sustainable revenues.
Needless to say, the more clubs that sign up for ‘
My Club Wins’ and the more “players” these clubs
enlist the bigger the prizes and the greater the contribution back for clubs to spend on their
development. So I urge you to look at MCW, to sign up and help your club and the game at
grassroots level more generally. We’re keen get the ball rolling!

button and get cracking. To be part of the first draw at the end of July you need to move quickly; if
this feels like too much of a rush, register by no later than the end of June to be part of August’s
monthly draw.
